Tracking Containers
TrackItPilot tracks each container from the moment it's assigned to an order through delivery and empty return, so you always know where a box is and what's next.
Finding a container
From Orders, search by container number, booking number, or customer reference to jump straight to the order it belongs to. Each order's details page shows the container's current status, its terminal/port of origin, and every move recorded against it — pickup, delivery, and return.
The status timeline
Every order has a timeline of status events — created, dispatched, picked up, in transit, delivered, returned empty — timestamped as they happen. Status updates arrive automatically from driver check-calls and port/terminal data feeds where available, so the timeline reflects reality without someone in the office manually re-typing updates.
If a status looks stale or wrong, check the most recent driver check-call first; most tracking questions come down to a check-call that hasn't landed yet rather than the container actually being lost.
Documents and proof of delivery
Proof-of-delivery (POD) documents, bills of lading, and other paperwork attached to a move appear directly on the order's details page as they're received — you don't need to go looking for them in a separate system.
